Pros +
- Quiet, clean. The pool is nice. The whirlpool was down for maintenance, but that's going to happen from time to time. (Didn't matter to me, as I had a room with a jacuzzi tub, which my sore body sorely needed). Lots of choice in nearby restaurants, and
- The breakfast
- The location was wonderful for our visit to SUNY Geneseo! Check-in was quick, easy. I had an interesting and helpful conversation with the young man that checked us in. (He is a student at Geneseo)
Cons -
- I've stayed at a lot of Hamptons. The breakfast at this one was OK, but I've seen better at other hotels. Didn't see much in the way of fresh fruit or yogurt, which seem to be staples at other Hamptons. But really, no major complaints.
- I was traveling with my boyfriend and 13 year old daughter. I booked a room with 2 double beds. When we arrived I was told there were no double beds left and that they would upgrade us to a king bed. My daughter ended up on an uncomfortable roll away
- The room was extremely outdated, and quite dirty. We wore shoes the entire time as the carpet was just disgusting. The bathroom was definitely updated and cleaner than the room, so we stayed but will never return to home s particular hotel.
