The motel is on Highway 70, this motel is just 1 mile from Rio Grande. It features rooms with free WiFi. A cable TV is provided in each room at Royal Host Motel. The rooms also include a microwave and small fridge for guest convenience. Snack and drink vending machines are also available. Royal Host Motel is just 4 miles from Old Mesilla. Las Cruces Fairgrounds is less than 30 minutes’ drive away.

- Hotel was near the high facing a main road.Nearby restaurants. Yummy Mexican next door. Area seemed safe.
- Very clean room, super nice people at the front desk.
- The sweep on the bottom of the door was missing so the room had dead crickets ! Several of them
Cons -
- Road noise. I would request a backside room. My room 242 had a huge door gap.
- the room needs blackout curtains
- Certainly did not expect high end at this price point, but did not expect roaches in the room the next morning either. Had to check all of our stuff to make sure we didn't take any with us. No ice machine to be found and no staff to ask either.
