- Great and convenient location when checking up on our summer home. Room decor is very cool and very 50s.
- Not much to be honest. from the pictures I thought this would be nice. Did not like that the rooms were not inside. This was a a motel not a hotel. staff was decent but also didn't really care a ton about the water issue.
- The StarLux experience was a great getaway for 3 days. The front desk personnel were very helpful - the many extras were nice-bikes, beach chairs, etc. I loved the retro look of the hotel and Astro Lounge. Breakfast was good, too.
Cons -
- No
- 1st room-Window broken so did not fully close and brown water coming out of faucet. Staff found another room but it was dirty, 3rd room also had brown water. I was grossed out. Staff said due to main line water flush. I wonder though & wanted to cancel.
- The noise level is high. Guests and staff in the corridors, the elevator and laundry rooms could be more quiet. The traffic outside can¿t be helped but it is a factor in staying here (it was also peak season on a weekend!)
