- Very interesting propert with lots of character. Staff were very friendly and restaurant was very good.
- The room cleanliness was exceptional,but i checked out early didnt stay the two days as expected and the service went downhill the front desk didnt know how to handle me checking out early and i was charged the wrong room rate.
- The room, grounds, staff, and service were exceptional. I travel to Southern New Hampshire a couple of times a year, and I appreciate that this inn is so comfortable and convenient to Portsmouth, Newmarket, and Dover. I will book a room here again.

- Lots of stairs which would be difficult for some folks
- They seemed unorganized,went to eat the tavern in the inn and never got seated waited ten minutes just felt like customer service wasnt a priorty.
