- Upon arrival I asked the front desk lady if I could pay for my visit with a different card than the one I initially booked with. She said yes, took my new card and used that to do their $50 hold until we checked out that she said would ONLY pend, not go through. Upon departure the $50 did go through, did not just pend. Then they charged me the $175 on my card I initially used to book the room AND charged my other card that I presented to them the day we arrived also for the $175. The front desk lady said they NEVER use a different card, they ONLY use the card that is used for the booking. And then proceeded to tell me the gal who helped me check in was new and that people make mistakes. When asked about the refund to at least one of my cards for the $175 AND the $50 to the other, she said it refunded on their end already and I would have to wait 10 business days for it to show on my end by my bank. Then when I asked her for a print out of the receipt she said no, they are only paperless and they sent me the receipt already to my email. I said I did not receive a receipt, so she said she would do a "push" and I'd get it within 24hours. She was snotty and arrogant. Blamed the service on mistakes and new employees. And when I said I understand being new and mistakes happening but it seems odd that the "new" gal had zero hesitation when answering my questions and was a breeze to work with she just looked at me and gave a "oh, well" look. Then I asked for a manager number or 800 number for me to talk with higher management she gave me a number and I said I would be calling them when I get into my car, she said ok. I got in my car, called the number right away, and the number she gave me was the front desk number and SHE answered it!
- The rooms were not very clean, floors very dirty, cracks in the foundation of the walls, drafts of air consistently. Bathroom light has worked poorly both times we have stayed at this hotel.

I liked that we had out own entrance from outside directly to our room. It made taking our dog out to potty a lot easier and we didn't worry about running into potentially unfriendly other animals in the hallways.
