Clarion Pointe Winston - Salem Downtown

The location to everything was great. The room itself was clean. Staff was friendly.

There was trash all around the steps and open food containers just sitting around with food in them there also. Very disgusting to be a nice hotel. Also didn't have and towels or wash clothes in the room.

Do not book here. I did my booking through Priceline. When I showed up they told me I had no reservation. Instead of calling and sorting it out with their vendor, they said it was my problem. I left and got another room (no way was I throwing more money after that). I then called Priceline to get a refund. They called the hotel and informed me that the hotel claimed the reservation was used so Priceline could not refund me. I called the hotel back and after not annswering the first few times, the guy who first told me it was my problem acted like nothing was his fault. I let him know I thought he was a moron and he made a mocking response imitation. I then let him know I would be happy to come have the conversation in person, after which he threatened to call the police if I came back. Long story short, charged me for a room , tried to get me to pay for another one, then claimed I used the reservation. Shady stuff. Steer clear.

Kristen the receptionist is professional and wonderful. The housekeeping staff did a great job and made me feel safe. I will definately return to my new home away from home.

Nothing at all

The room wasn't clean and smelled like cigarettes and pot bed was broken refrigerator was loud and smelled like mold found a bed bug in the lobby crawling on the couch definitely not a safe neighborhood at all the guy next to us in another room found semen on his bed ...all in all don't recommend booking this hotel . Just nasty ?
