Ameristar Casino Hotel Vicksburg, Ms.

The staff was great. The room was okay. Bed was comfortable. Room was ♿ accessible. However, the water pressure in shower was horrible. There was also a dirty rag hanging over the shower rod from a previous stay. Room was also supposed to be a non-smoking room, but there are cigarette burns all over the dresser in the room.

Water pressure in shower was horrible. Bathroom lighting is very dim. Room was not thoroughly cleaned from previous stay, with dirty washcloth left hanging on shower rod. Cigarette burn marks on dresser in the room, although was non-smoking room. Did not realize casino was across street from hotel. All restaurants associated with this hotel were closed. Only open late week/weekend.

No breakfast offered, but wasn't expecting it. The location was very convenient to getting on and off the interstate. Close to restaurants

The batteries for the TV remote were taped in place. This made the remote inconsistent when trying to control the TV. The time and date weren't set on the TV, so programming information wasn't available.

Night staff

The property was ran down. Needed cleaning the furniture in the room was dirty you could see the dirt on the chair, the room smelled like weed and the bed was outdated needed new mattress. Overall very filthy.

Reception was great as were the rooms. The only complaint I had was the drunk gamblers coming in at 2:00. They woke me up and I wasn't able to get back to sleep. Not the hotel's fault but should be noted.
