Crowne Plaza Hotel Kansas City Downtown By IHG

The location was great! We were just a few blocks from power and light, with easy access to the highway to get around to other locations within the city! The view was perfect!

The bed was the hardest mattress I've ever slept on. By the second morning I couldn't wait to get back to my own bed. The room was generally clean as long as you don't mind dust bunnies at your windows. The elevators worked about half the time. We were told at check in that they had waived the parking fee for us (so nice!), but were charged for it in the night. Had to check back in the second night we stayed due to the hotel deactivating our keys. We were doubled charged the incidental fee, as well as the fee for one of the nights stay, so keep an eye on your banking. They have not yet resolved the overcharges. Something in the hall beeped our entire stay, but this noise was not happening on other floors (maybe a smoke alarm going dead?). Room service woke us up the first morning, though we had not requested room service (they went to the wrong room).

It was in a great location and had great amenities.

Great location, near everything downtown, easy walk to T-Mobile Center, Power & Light, Kauffman Center and Convention Center

Rooms a bit outdated, but still comfortable.

Location was good for access to T mobile. Parking garage was great except for having to pay an additional $25 to park in it

Our room was across from the parking garage elevator. It was a loud elevator and ran frequently late into the night and very early in the my. Made it difficult to sleep although it might not bother some if you’re not a light sleeper.

Clean & comfortable rooms
