The Hotel Landing

Pros +

• Location and cleanliness.
• The staff were amazing. The sent a text to check in and see how the room was and I was able to use that number to communicate with them as needed. There was a dog barking down the hall and they were able to contact the owner and rectify this very quickly
• Friendly staff. Free parking. Rooms were small, clean and new, like a nice Hampton Inn. Screwed shut windows offered a few of the train tracks and muffled the loud horn.

Cons -

• None.
• Misleading advertising. This property is not a lakeside retreat on the shores of Lake Minnetonka. It's a few blocks from the lake across from train track. Photos on website are not of property details. Staff agreed that marketing was misleading.
• The staff was not friendly and in some case rude. At arrival - no help from valet or bellman. Front desk staff was rude when asked for help at checkin with bags. At check out, said we were lucky for not getting charged to water. Overall, poor service.
