- It was the last available hotel room in Ely for four people. The balcony had a nice view of the lake and the private entrance was handy. It was functional for an overnight stay before launching our canoe/camping trip. It was good to have the kitchenet.
- Easy check-in. Rooms are spacious with utensils available.

Cons -
- We needed to use the sofa bed for 2 people. The mattress was dirty and had springs poking through. There were extra pillows but no sheets or blankets. The carpet was ripped, stained, and dirty. Office was closed and never received a receipt.
