Motel 6-Albert Lea, MN

Pros +

• Do not book quadruple deluxe room. You pay extra for a room with two double beds and no fridge, microwave or coffee maker. This place is dirty and many other options in the area. Go somewhere else. The location is great and that's it

• Looked like they were trying. Although loud, there was a new a/c unit. Laminate instead of carpet floors. New shower curtain, too bad no hot water... the desk clerk was alone so I'm sure overwhelmed, but was pleasant and tried to accommodate.

Cons -

• Heater did not work, shower was hot for 5 mins. Room not clean. Had no coffee.actual bags of trash sitting in stairwells that judging by the smell have been there a while. Customer service was non-existent. Would not recommend staying here.Horrible
• The smell of trash in hallways. When I got to my room the door was kept open by the latch(like someone was in there). No one was in the room but toilet was full of urine, hair on sink, toilet and shower. The beds were messy too. No shampoo soap toiletries
• Pillows were hard. Bathtub was not clean. Shower curtain had mold on it. Drain did not work too well. Hardwood floors were very dirty. There was no refrigerator. There was a desk but no chair. AC was very loud and could barely hear the TV.
