Pros +
- Our family loves the hotel and typically have a very enjoyable stay. We are picky as far as friendliness, and cleanliness! That along with the pool and hot tub keep us coming back.
- Room was clean.
- Breakfast menu was poor. I expected a normal breakfast menu and service. For as large of hotel the breakfast was poor. We enjoyed being by the beach. The walk to the downtown shopping are was longer than expected when reading the description of the hotel location. The dinner service was very nice.
Cons -
- We woke up the first morning to cold water in the shower, I called the front desk at 9am & was told they’d send someone up. No one showed up so we took cold showers as we had to be somewhere. They sent someone while we we gone. Spoke to the mgr & was told sorry if you booked thru us we could have given you a discount off my stay but since I used booking.com nothing they can do. But when I come back they will take care of me. Sorry I won’t be back after that comment. Cold showers should never happen for $300/night.
- We've never experienced this place being over run by kids but unfortunately for us this was our most recent experience and reasoning for low score. We frequent great wolf lodge as well for the kids activities, but we stay with you for more of an upper class hotel feel. There was what appeared to be 2 parties for children going on in the outdoor pool as well as the indoor pool. The bigger group of 15 kids mainly stayed in the outdoor pool but when there pizza arrived they all piled into the indoor pool area, completely blocking the entrance while they stood there eating pizza. Whe this was going on we has to stop 1 of the mother's of the party from moving our belongings from our seats so they could take over our area. I understand and expect people to have children with them for the stay but this was out of control. I was under the impression that you had an alotted adults only hour or 2 after 9 pm. That was not enforced . And finally the kids running up n down the halls was worse than a great wolf stay
- The amount of birthday parties happening in the pool areas made our trip very unpleasant. We visit quite often this time of year and never have dealt with anything like this. What was supposed to be a relaxing getaway was filled with chaos. Tons of people not actual guests of the facility using the amenities made areas overly crowded. Kids running up and down hallways playing in elevators being very loud and unruly. Could hear everything from room so it was very disruptive.

Over priced. The lamp in the room did not work.
