This Michigan hotel overlooks the Grand River and is connected to the Grand Rapids Convention Center. Every room includes a flat-screen TV. Ruth's Chris Steakhouse restaurant is on site. The Amway Grand Plaza Hotel includes a fitness center. The hotel offers on-site shops. The Gerald R. Ford Museum and Van Andel Arena are within walking distance of the Amway Grand via a connected skywalk. Motorway I-196 is minutes from the hotel.

- Location
- Really cool, upscale hotel with beautiful lobby.
- Central access and the room view was amazing
Cons -
- Chair for desk in room #507 was dirty - coffee stains, dirt, etc.
- The room was not worth the amount of money. The wallpaper was peeling, grime around the sink and mold in the cups. Then, there was no seal around the door so light poured through - making sleep a challenge.
- There was no in room coffee & no in room refrigerator
