Located on Mount Desert Island, this Northeast Harbor hotel is 1.2 mi from the hiking trails of Acadia National Park and 12 mi from swimming at Sand Beach. Guests can also swim in the on-site seasonal outdoor pool. A cable TV and a hairdryer are included in every room at Kimball Terrace Inn. Some rooms also have views of the Northeast Harbor from a balcony or a patio. Guests can dine on-site at The Nor’Easter. The Kimball Terrace Inn is 5 minutes’ walk from the Great Harbor Maritime Museum and the Sea Princess Cruises.

- The only downside to our stay was the comfort of bed & pillows. Bed was Firm as were pillows (a bit flat & firm). Some people may like that, but I woke up daily quite sore & with an aching neck. I Would still stay again- but just bring my own pillows!
- We booked a room with sea view. We got a view of the parking lot. You have a hang your head the balcony to get a peek of the harbor. When we brought up the issue to the lady at the front desk. She insisted that it has sea view.
