DoubleTree by Hilton Washington DC Silver Spring

The location was great; very easy to access from the highway. The shower was INCREDIBLE!! The room was modern, clean and spacious.

Paying for parking!? Really? I already paid for the room.

The look of the hotel was nice. Some of the staff were nice and pleasant.

I did not like that our hotel room sink was clogged, and the bed comfortable had very noticeable stained marks if you lift it up toward the light. As a result no one wanted to utilize the comforter. During breakfast we received the bill charging all parties without disclosing that in the reservation 2 adults had breakfast included, once I brought it to the host/waitress attention then she made the necessary changes. However during our last day, as I checked out and exited the hotel, I noticed a breakfast charge for the 2 adults who had breakfast included in the hotel stay reservation. I contacted the hotel to address the matter and the front desk staff was extremely rude and hung up the phone on me a few times until I was finally able to speak with someone else. The more pleasant front desk staff was very apologetic as she made mention that as I was speaking with the rude front desk staff, she charged me on the spot for my children's breakfast when it was already paid for. Therefore, she apologized and shared that it will be refunded to me immediately.

The customer service reception was excellent

Terrible reception, workers are rude downright unprofessional. Elevator is a hazard. Genuinely felt unsafe on elevator . Lastly 2 drinks at the bar were 40 dollars .
