This downtown Ocean City hotel is 1 block from the beach and boardwalk along the Atlantic Ocean. It features simple rooms with free Wi-Fi and serves free coffee/ tea in the lobby. A microwave and refrigerator are standard in every air-conditioned room at the King Charles Hotel. All rooms include a cable TV, private bathroom and carpeted floors. Guests of Hotel King Charles can relax in the common seating area or enjoy a beverage from the wicker chairs on the porch. Parking is free on- site. Jolly Roger Amusement Park is 1.5 miles from the hotel. White Marlin Mall and Eagle’s Landing Golf Course are both a 10-minute drive away.

- Marie Noel has created a hotel with a quaint, beach environment. It is charming, exceptionally clean and a stone¿s throw from the boardwalk. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there!
Cons -
- I would recommend darkening curtains on the windows in room 104 because the lights from the apartments next door stream through the shades all night so it seems like daytime light all night.
- The room itself was a bit tight, but our room had a balcony and that made it much roomier.
