The Sleep Inn hotel is located just off Interstate 10 and is convenient to all attractions and businesses in Lafayette, located just five miles away. It is close to The Mall of Acadiana, the Zoo of Acadiana and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. The Lafayette Regional Airport is five miles from the hotel. Additional area attractions include Floyd Sonnier's Beau Cajun Art Gallery, Acadian Village, Acadiana Center for the Arts, Alexandre Mouton House Museum and Children's Museum of Acadiana. A golf course, health club and outdoor recreational activities are also close to the hotel. There are several cocktail lounges and restaurants nearby. Scott is in the heart of Cajun Land and is known as "where the West Begins". The city was developed based upon the extension of the main line of the railroad through the community in the late 1800's. Guests can enjoy amenities like free continental breakfast, free local calls, free weekday newspaper, free coffee, seasonal outdoor pool and picnic area. Business travelers will enjoy the free wireless high-speed Internet access in all rooms, computer hookups, voice mail and access to copy and fax services. - The staff was very friendly and helpful. Although there were a lot of soccer players they were quiet around 11. It was a very nice stay.
- The customer service was great.
- The beds were comfortable.
Cons -
- The room was ok
- Do not recommend if traveling with small children. No bathtubs in any of the rooms, only showers. Our bathroom smelled like urine and when I told the front desk he just stared at me like I was speaking another language. Breakfast is waffles, cereal yogurt
- A little old and dated. The was an order through the inside.
