The front desk clerk was amazing and very attentive to our needs.
Staff was excellent, beautiful hotel, and history.
Quiet, nice bar, clean & comfortable beds

Cons -

The upkeep of the hotel was not up to standards. The ceiling in the restroom was leaking on the bathroom tub was dirty.
The bed was not so comfy. Could feel the springs.
My key didn?t work late the second evening and no one was at the desk to help for a little while. The attendant had gone to get his supper. Better coverage would have been better for this emergency.

The hotel was not as advertised. It's not glitz and glamor, not elegant or anywhere near what it was in its heydays. It's also under construction which might have accounted for the lack of visitors.
