Hilton Garden Inn Louisville/Northeast

The staff was friendly and the rooms were very clean and modern. The lobby was nice and had a good coffee bar set up. There was breakfast but it wasn't included unless you were a perks member. Otherwise it was about $15 a person. Great location right off the highway and close to Starbucks. Just a short drive to our extended family's home.

The heater/AC unit wasn't working at all when we checked into our room. The thermostat read 73 but it couldn't have been over 67. We went out for the evening and returned about 9pm. We decided to contact the front desk in the morning since we didn't plan on sleeping with the heat that high anyhow. But in the morning it was very chilly. They did come and fix it while we were out that afternoon, but no mention of reimbursement or even a free breakfast was even offered. When it's 40 degrees out and the heat doesn't work, it seems the concierge would make some sort of accommodations to off-set our situation.Secondly, we stayed for two nights and housekeeping didn't come to replenish towels or bedding. That's a disappointment since that's one of the luxuries of staying in a hotel. I feel like we paid top dollar and got average amenities.

The location is the best of all the hotels we have ever used ... which is many. Everything is nearby. Hotel is very modern and well appointed. Rooms look new. Good water pressure and amenities.

No handicapped parking. Sheets on bed are micro fiber that wrap around you and tie you up if you roll over. Cling to your clothes. VERY ANNOYING. Enough to make us look elsewhere. Restaurant was not staffed so was not open. Nor the bar.

Nice area of town. Very clean rooms/bathrooms. Staff was very friendly. Manager went out of his way to stop and talk to us in the lobby.

Everything ! Greet coffee, friendly people, Tony was exceptional at the registration desk. Helpful and goes the extra mile to be that way.The location was wonderful. Shopping within walking distance right outside the hotel door.Great lobby to sit and have coffee in the morning!
