Comfort Suites Salina South

Pros +

• Room was nice. Extra touches with mints and water/tea in the lobby
• Location of the Hotel. Decent Breakfast Nice Suite
• Helpful, friendly staff.

Cons -

• Dining room attendant had little to do that day as hotel was not very busy. We felt like we were being stared at while we ate. His time would have been better spent folding some laundry or fixing the ice machine that was broken or the pool, also broken.
• I specifically looked for a Hotel with a pool. I booked this Hotel for the pool... No where on it's website did it say the pool was down for repairs.. if I had known that it was down... I would have gone elsewhere... Disappointed ?
• The hotel is so close to the freeway, I could not block out the sound of the cars all night- despite ear plugs and a pillow on my head. Also the light from outside was a bright as day- forcing me to shut the black out curtains (which I don¿t prefer).
