Pros +
- The history of the hotel was fascinating to learn about. You couldn't ask for a better location in Lawrence! Free internet.
- Its charm and comfortable feel
- There was a note about furniture being remodeled and trust supply was short due to Covid. Much of room furniture was worn and did not look in place as our room was not yet one of true ones finished.
Cons -
- The woman at the front desk was very rude and unprofessional. Our room was not available at check-in time. Once we did get to the room, it was not thoroughly cleaned (i.e. dirty toilet, pillowcases).
- That I couldn't stay longer!
- Some staff clearly go out of their way, some of them are going through the motions. This seems to be a common trend.
