Our room was clean and quiet. I liked going to the 6th floor rooftop terrace for sunlight and view in the morning and a short workout in the exercise room. The lobby is clean, open and modern and the local area is clean and safe. A short walk to the CTA Red Line train to downtown. This hotel is close to where family live in Edgewater. It is quite a longer train ride all the way to downtown. It was the best option for us on a very busy Chicago Marathon weekend where the downtown hotel prices are about double the rate I've paid in June. Carlos and the other front desk and breakfast staff are very friendly. This was my 2nd stay at this hotel in 3 years and both stays have been pleasant.
I'm always going to be shocked and dislike paying over $300/night for a Hampton Inn, but hotel prices in the US lately have gotten redic; prices in Chicago were extra high due to the Marathon. I overheard guests asking for breakfast options that meet their allergy requirements, the staff did address them but having more labeled options out already on a full hotel weekend could be nice. Dairy free milk option out, labeled GF safe options. Maybe not on slower days but this was a fully booked weekend.

The staff was super nice + the rooms were very clean! Easy access to the train to head to the city and many places to eat & shop within walking distance. I will definitely stay here again when I’m back in the area!
Nothing! Everything was perfect. ?

The rooms were large and the beds were comfortable. 10 stars for such a well designed bathroom. Great storage and counter space!! The lobby was welcoming and cozy with a fireplace.
The only thing that wasn't to my liking was the hvac in our room. My body temperature runs hot so I had the A/C on, however it turns off periodically in the night which left me too warm and when it kicked on again it woke me up.

The breakfast was great and offered a small variety of hot food each day. The rooms were very clean when we arrived and the street wasn't very loud at night.
I must have misread the amenities on booking.com because I thought there was separate parking separate from valet, but there wasn't. The valet service was also a little expensive, but I'm not sure what the typical Chicago rate is.

The location was wonderful. Great walkability to restaurants, beach and the metro train. The lobby was very welcoming and always had cold, fresh water available.
The bed wasn’t the most comfy and the pillows were super flat.

Very friendly staff; great room and amenities; great location. The only downside: breakfast was quite basic; not very healthy, nor sustainable.

Excellent location and friendly staff. We had an ADA room so it was a little strange.
