Room was very clean and well designed. The lobby was quite nice, as well. Very nice location.

The heater alternated on and off every few minutes and the sound woke me up many times throughout the night. I tried dialing the temp down much lower in the hopes that it would not go on and off as frequently, but it kept cycling on and off no matter what. Other than that, I thought it was a great room. Also, the check-in staff could have been a little friendlier. .

Room was clean and functional.

There was no external view from the window on an inner concrete wall. It would have been nice, as I had requested a superior room to have a view of the outside world.

The location and general feel of the hotel was great.

Although the amenity fee was described ahead of time, I would have preferred to have the option to exclude this. I didn't like hearing that Hyatt is in the process of purchasing the hotel. Anticipated price increases will likely prevent from us from returning.

Lovely conformable hotel, very good location.

All staff except one person working in the breakfast cafe were excellent. One member of staff in breakfast cafe was very insulting against British people. Remark made to another member of staff in my presence. Would not put me off retuning to stay in hotel as all other staff and hotel staff very helpful.

Beautiful hotel with extremely helpful and polite team members. Very conveniently located walking distance from so many things. Walgreens, CVS and Starbucks just a block away. Everywhere we want to go was no more then a 15-20min walk.

The beds were way too high up, and that parking is a little expensive, but it's valet.

The location is perfect, staff was friendly and efficient, the hotel's infrastructure is well maintained. We appreciated the hospitality and attention of staff at reception, who made sure to accommodate us the best they could. They made sure to upgrade our room to a higher level after the first night without us even asking. The view from the second room was amazing. Thank you!

We found the rooms somewhat outdated and below our expectations, considering the price per night. The room was clean, but the rug and furniture had some permanent stains, and the general look and feel of the rooms did not match the impression we had from the website. This did not affect our stay at all and was mainly esthetic, but it did lower our perception of value for money.First disclaimer: our stay in Chicago turned out to coincide with a major music festival, so hotel prices (including this one) were probably higher than usual. Second disclaimer: we found prices in Chicago (food, hotels, touristic activities) to be quite expensive in general, so the hotel's price is in line with that trend.
