Location is great. Staff very helpful.
Very dark rooms. (Beware, the room pictures on the hotel web page are misleading.) The A/C system did not work well so I was told to open the window to cool the room. (It worked as outside was freezing, but still…)

Room was clean. Location was near all of our destinations. Only redeeming quality was the rooftop bar
Check-in started at 3. Our room wasn't available until 4. We had tickets to a show at 5 and barely had time to change and clean up. We paid for a "park view" room that was completely obstructed. TV was left crooked on the wall. Duvet cover was upside down so tag was in my face first night (I shouldn't have to remake the bed). Road noise (honking, sirens, etc. was extremely loud at all hours). Couldn't get waited on in the Game Room despite sitting right at the bar. We splurged on this property as it looked like it would be a luxury stay. Would never stay here again.

Lovely building. Good location and great restaurant.
Poor service. Valet was inattentive. Suite was not ready that we had booked. We were moved to a smaller room. Long wait. As a business order. Service is key. It felt that no one was in charge and nobody quite knew what to do. We totally enjoyed the stay however the service did not match what we paid for.

Great location and an amazing building to be in.
The temperature of the room. We got in and it was hot, so we put the thermostat on the cool setting. We got back from a quick nightcap to a room that was 83 degrees. We contacted the front desk for a fan because there was no way to cool down the room. The housekeeping/maintenance man helped us by getting us a fan. The fan he brought was broken (not his fault) and in the meantime he set the thermostat to cool while getting another fan. I. The five minutes that he was gone to get another fan the temperature in the room rose. When he came back with a working fan and we informed him of the temperature increase he offered to contact engineering for us. It was 1:30 AM so we opted for the tower fan he brought because we didn’t want to stay up any later after traveling all day. Fast forward to check out and we mentioned how the AC didn’t work. Turns out that there is no AC in the rooms because it’s an older building and that you should have just turned the heat off all together. If there’s a thermostat with a “cool” setting and no sign saying that there is no AC, how would you know any of this? The hotel is lovely but really there should be at least a sign in the room next to the thermostat or have someone say something after texting about how hot it was and needing a fan. It also doesn’t make sense how there was definitely cold air flowing in the hallways (which we opened the door in attempt to cool the room down). Maybe we got the lemon of a room but if there are rooms available in the summer at the hotel I don’t know how they would not have cool air in them.

Beautiful historical hotel, so classy and fun as well. Immaculately clean from top to bottom, guest rooms to public areas and top-notch restaurants. Fabulous scent, too. Interactions with employees everywhere was stellar.
Not a darn thing.

Excellent location, the rooms were very comfortable and clean, and the staff very friendly. The room was very quiet too, despite the central location.
I liked everything!

Great location
Dark rooms, narrow hallways, unintuitive layout. Had to negotiate stairs for everything including lobby restrooms. Initial confusion at arrival to find valet. Never able to visit Cindy’s, which was featured on website and got conflicting advice about how to get on waitlist or whether guests received any priority.

Very good location
Bed not comfortable. Safe didn’t work and a bed light was out. For the price I think it should have been better
