The Laylow Waikiki, Autograph Collection

Location is excellent and is a hotspot for nightlife. Couldn't have picked a better location. Rooms were adequate and clean with no issues. Staff were great throughout the visit.

Some of the stated benefits such as "free bikes", and daily activities were very limited.

Location was central and very convenient. It was a stones throw away from restaurants and malls. The beach is only less than a five minute walk. The room was spacious and comfortable. It was clean, and accommodated 5 people perfectly. The included resort package in the room was a nice touch (with the complimentary chocolate, slippers, tote bags and water bottle). Also loved that there were activities available for guests as well.

The only think I would say that I didn't like was that the parking option was very limited (just to valet) and was quite pricey. Ended up finding parking offsite through a third party. I also thought that the restaurant/ bar was a bit too overpriced.

Location was great. Room was fine, bathroom was spacious with good lighting. Restaurant was good.

Balcony was virtually unusable due to loud noise that seems to come from a mechanical room in an adjacent building.

- Staff: exceptionally supportive and ready to help and go the extra mile without being too "sticky"- Location: smack a dab next to everything and also the beach at a stone's throw. Only better could be on the beach directly, but those tend to be resorts, not hotels.- Value: Price was very reasonable considering location and amenities.

- Pool was undergoing maintenance which restricted part of the area- I think - there was only one ice machine (lobby's floor) ?- Hard to find a third - valet could have been complimentary :B

Excellent F&B, the Restaurant and Bar are sensational! Mo Bettah Burger probably the best in Hawaii! Rooms were clean and well maintained.

Some renovations at the pool we weren't advised about but we could still swim. It's got to be done sometime!

Great location near beach and main shopping street with classic hotels. Lots of dining options nearby. Convenient to drug store/mall with Target for getting snacks, health-beauty products, bottled water, bus passes. Convenient to major bus lines. Hotel was very comfortable, with good breakfasts and bar, entertainment, pool, concierge to help book tours. Valet helped book taxis to sunset boat cruise, airport.

No complaints.

Amazing location. One street over from the beach and on a main street with restaurants and shopping right out the door. Super fun vibe.

The restaurant was pricey but it had a great bar and outside private seating area elevated above the street so we felt it was worth it for lunch. Very tropical.

The Laylow was a really beautiful hotel right in the heart of Kuhio Avenue where there are tons of shops and restaurants and people! The restaurant on site, The Hideout, is a hot spot with live music nightly and then there is another restaurant below that serving great, inexpensive breakfast and lunch items (I don't know about dinner) and drinks! The customer service, from the valet parking attendants to the front desk staff to the housekeeping staff were phenomenal. They were all super friendly and accommodating and QUICK when we needed something. The rooms were decorated so cute, the beds were very comfortable and, when the doors were shut, the noise level was at a minimum. I was thankful for that because the street (and bar) noise can escalate. The pool is on the small side, and if there are kids in it (which there were a ton when we were there), isn't the most relaxing but then again, if you want to completely relax, you should choose a different island than Oahu or Waikiki for that matter. Valet is expensive ($60/day) BUT it was well worth it to have our car right there and not have to walk miles (and I do mean miles) to get your car from another location. I just sucked it up and paid it. And again, the valet staff were on it! I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The pool is on the small side, but there was always plenty of seating both in the shade and in the sun. No mad rushes to get a lounge chair.

Vibe is tops. Corner suite was huge and comfortable. Hideaway is a great venue. Everything clean. Location is great.

Room could use another overhead light- it was quite dark - and tea/coffee making facilities in the room would have been fantastic.
