Ideally located in the Waikiki district of Honolulu, Waikiki Central Hotel - No Resort Fees is located a 2-minute walk from Waikiki Beach, 300 yards from Kuhio Beach and a 8-minute walk from Queen's Surf Beach. The property is close to Kapiolani Park, Waikīkī Shell and US Army Museum of Hawaii. Free WiFi is available and private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. Pros +
- Liked the location, clean, comfortable, equipped. Liked that you had options for cleaning or not. Liked that there was parking, although limited and for a cost. Very walkable location.
- Ideal location, comfortable and clean room. The room has basic dishes and cutlery (+ microwave & fridge), which makes it easier to prepare a simple meal. Bathroom and shower were very modern and clean. The staff were all very friendly and helpful!
- Staff was great! Very friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Great central location: short walk to beach, shops, restaurants, car rental. Bed was comfortable. On site laundry. Beach towels, mat, chairs, umbrella, boogie boards provided.
Cons -
- The price shouldn?t be elevated due to its no frills, basics, place to stay. If you need amenities this is not it. You should have a kamaaina deal.
- Frosted window by front door w/ no blind let light in all night visible from bed. I like bigger pillows. Some noise from the street. Fyi - Not a problem for us, but there was no daily maid service but towels,sheets, tp, etc readily available though.
