Location is great. Easy to catch buses, liked being at Diamond Head end of strip (that end of beach is quieter), front desk staff are great!

Room had a lot of long term guests/employees so there was stuff everywhere. Boxes, plastic storage bins - a lot of stuff everywhere in a small room. Bathroom- towels and personal effects everywhere, floor space and bench covered with stuff.

I'm an international backpacker and have traveled to over 52 countries in the world. I have stayed at dozens of hostels all over the globe. When searching for a hostel or anywhere to bed your head. It's all about the 3-L's: location, location, location. This place serves the needs of any true backpacker. Our rooms were cleaned daily. The bunk beds had decent mattresses and the communal area was well kept and they had plenty of excursions to take part in. The staff was friendly and inviting.They also provide laundry services that are very helpful when you're backpacking, from between $8 to $10 a load. I would rate this place in the top 10 of my hostel locations. For the price, this place cannot be beaten.Keep up the good work!

There was nothing that I didn't like. I know what I'm getting when I stay in a hostel.

Good location, close to major attractions and food. Convenient app with bluetooth as a key.

VERY loud at night. Your sleep quality depends upon your roommates who may have left the room’s door open wide, occupied empty beds, or stayed up very late packing. Room is not clean (based on hostel standards). The fans need TLC.

The premises could use some improvements. For example, clean the mold and stains from the bathroom ceiling.

In a 7 days I had 2 crazy roomies and like 13 normals so it’s reasonable

Wonderful stay, fantastic people all around—staff and travelers alike. Everyone is welcoming and make it feel like home away from home. The location is perfect, right next to the beach, the strip, and the bus stop. Wi-Fi is great, large kitchen area and fridge storage space, ample space to work or socialize. There are kitchen supplies, spices, oil, pan spray, etc. available for use, which was nice. A stove, toaster oven, microwave, and fridge. No freezer or oven. Rooms were well-kept and friendly vibe. AC was nice and cold, bunks were comfy. All ages around and definitely best hostel compared to the neighboring ones near Waikiki. Safe location for female traveler, not too noisy at night, but it IS right by the beach, so definitely not silent. Within walking distance of everything and you can meet people to coordinate driving trips. Target is not too far, for more groceries there’s a Safeway about a mile walk up the road, not too far. Overall, loved our time here, definitely the best hostel near Waikīkī.
