Located off Interstate 185 just 8 miles from Central Columbus, this hotel features a daily hot continental breakfast buffet and free WiFi. Fort Benning is 25 minutes’ drive away. A microwave and a small refrigerator are found in each simply decorated room at the Country Inn and Suites Columbus. Suites include a separate seating area with a sofa bed. Guests of the Columbus Country Inn and Suites can relax by the outdoor pool or keep up with their work in the business center. A free transfer service to the Columbus Airport is offered. Columbus State University is 10 minutes’ drive from the hotel. The shopping and dining at Columbus Park Crossing are 5 miles away.

It was easy to get to and the breakfast was pretty good

Cons -

The beds were uncomfortable, itty bitty trash cans, the First Lady was nice, but everyone after that seemed as if we were bothering them if we asked for something . The shower/tub was slippery.

The sink would not drain - the toilet ran continually after flushing. Had to manually take off the tank lid and play plumber to stop it. Old facility. Woke Up to no electricity- no notification - just no lights, etc.
