Courtyard by Marriott Atlanta Executive Park/Emory

The staff was friendly and helpful, the hotel itself was well appointed and had a nice mix of public and private spaces; the business center was very helpful, the restaurant offered great options for dinner and breakfast, and I had a very comfortable bed - it met all my needs and more. It was perfectly located for my needs, close to where I was working and close to restaurants and stores without a ton of traffic to deal with. I liked the hotel.

My neighbors and the thickness of the walls. I will never, ever stay in a room that connects to another at this hotel. My neighbors on the connecting side were horribly loud - I could hear their television quite clearly, plus every conversation they had - and although they went to bed at a reasonable hour, they kept me up all night because one of them had some sort of respiratory issue and woke up coughing and spitting every 2 hours and I heard it all (I am usually a very sound sleeper, so when I say it was extreme, it was extreme.) I thought the first night was a fluke, so I didn't ask to be moved, but the second night was worse - I didn't sleep more than 2 hours at a clip for the entire stay, and I went home exhausted. I never heard the neighbors on the other side, so I think it had something to do with the connecting. Also, parking is $10/night, and the lot is never full.

The room was clean and ok though not often cleaned. It was cleaned twice for the 7 days I was at the property

Through booking.com, the agreement was to pay cash at the property. On arrival, the hotel had a much higher rate from what booking.com was showing. Then, the hotel wouldn't accept cash as if we paid cash, we would pay 5 times more than the actual cost which was so unfair and different from the initial information given by the booking.com app. Also, the hotel was always distancing themselves from the booking.com application and it seemed as if they didn't not subscribe to it.

Great location

Room was spacious. Housekeeping changed the sheets when we wanted. The location was perfect for us, my daughters apartment was next door.

Bfreakfast was limited and hours were not very long. A buffet with hot items would have been nice.

This is a good, serviceable hotel, near to our family and suits us well. We like the space of the two bed suites, and especially like being on the ground floor so that we had easy access to outside.

It would have been nice to have had a couple of chairs for our patch of outside. Also some of the fixtures and fittings could do with repairs (no lightbulbs in some of the lights), and shelves missing from the cupboards. The net curtains could certainly do with a wash.

bathroom floor was covered in hair and our bathroom light fell and busted all over the floor in the middle of the night from a leak above us also flooding the floors
