Early check-in and a fairly late check-out were accommodated, which I really appreciated. The location is excellent, walkable, central, and in a safe area. Most of the catering staff and some front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The buffet offered decent value for money overall, with service from most of the staff being very good. Housekeeping was generally responsive when I requested fresh sheets or extra supplies. Internet speed was strong, and having access to a laundry room and microwave was very convenient.

Service consistency was an issue. One front desk staff member gave incorrect information about housekeeping, which caused unnecessary frustration and delayed room cleaning. Another interaction with front desk staff felt offish and unwelcoming. The breakfast buffet lost points due to fruit not always being fresh, I encountered spoiled fruit on more than one occasion. Walls are very thin, so noise from guests and cleaning staff travels easily, which made working difficult at times. I also noticed a hair in the shower on check-in and occasionally found hair still on the bathroom floor after cleaning. The gym and pool are underwhelming.

There are hotels that are closer to the area I was staying, but this was an inexpensive option a little off the beaten path. It was clean and the staff was friendly. The parking situation was convenient and not too expensive, which can be hit or miss for this area. I also appreciated the street view that I got.

I've stayed at this hotel a few times, and I don't know that I'll ever quite adjust to the way the doors have a little space at the bottom and how easy it is to hear neighbors. It's not a huge problem, but it's one of my personal reasons for sometimes choosing to stay elsewhere.

Access to the entrance. Whatever floor you park on, you have to go all the way back down and walk to the entrance.
