This Southern Florida hotel is located on 10 acres of Sanibel Island. It has 550 feet of private beach as well as onsite bicycle, kayak and paddleboard rentals. All rooms at the island Inn have a seating area, HD cable smart TVs, and full kitchens. a view of the ocean, free Wi-Fi, and an iPod docking station is also provided. The Island Inn's private beach provides an excellent area for swimming, BQQ grilling and seashell collecting. The front desk staff can also help guests organize sailing or kayaking expeditions. The Island Inn is 5 minute's drive from the 5,200-acre J. N. Darling Wildlife Refuge and less than 22 miles from Fort Myers city Center. Jerrys Grocery Store is less than 3 miles away. Front Desk Hours are 8 am EST to 5 pm EST daily. If guests are arriving after 5 pm EST they need to contact the hotel directly for after hours instructions. Construction will be going on in other areas of the property daily from 9 am EST to 5 pm EST

I liked the location of my room, the cleanliness, and the amenities in the room. It was great having a kitchen to cook in. It was also wonderful having a screened in porch to sit on. The beach was absolutely wonderful.
It would have been nice to have some aluminum foil in the kitchen. I also wish that the beds were a little more comfortable.
