Casa Loma

Pros +

• How close it is to the beach, and the ability to rent umbrellas and chairs that are set up and taken down for you.
• The room was affordable. The view was beautiful. The pool area was clean and the beach was beautiful.
• There was nothing best to like about it. Based on the description it did not meet my expectations at all. When a room is this expensive, you should get your money’s worth. This is absolutely the worst money I ever spent on a hotel.

Cons -

• This hotel has a ton of potential if the owners would invest in more than just cosmetic updates and more pest control. Except for the kitchen sink, all the drains were very slow/clogged, and there were roaches in two of the three rooms I booked.
• The shower situation! The water pressure was lacking and we had either hot water or cold water for showers.
• I didn’t like there is no ventilation. So if you open the door to the patio the ceiling will have condensation which will make your clothes and the bedding become moist. The bathroom has been painted over so many times it’s ridiculous.
