    Pros +

    • It was a nice surprise. Clean, cute...would definitely stay again.
    • the walk to the bay is nice!
    • Very tastefully decorated. Don't let the outside fool you. It was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Had alot of ammentaties. I would definitely stay there again. Tired of cookie cutter motels, then this one is for you.

    Cons -

    • floors were dirty
    • No restaurant near by but a short drive away.
    • The mattress had two deep indentations. Had to sleep in the valley or on the mountain. Very uncomfortable. Pictures showed a bay and implied there was a bay view. It’s a wooded walk to see the bay. View is a cement plant and woods. Value was poor. Should have been half what we paid. Renovations were done cheaply.

    Clean. Quirky.

I would not stay there again.

The room was filled with some kind of air freshener to cover up the musty odor of mold. The mold was overwhelming for us.

The laid back feeling was best and the outdoor Adirondack chairs very cozy and comfy. The food at Posey’s was excellent! And the restaurants all around, excellent! Angelos was a huge hit for us as well. I loved the beautiful jewelry display as you walk in. Gorgeous stuff. 1 pair of beautiful earrings $20. But 2 pair for $30.00. Worth a visit.

Tight to move around in front of the bathroom on that side of the bed. And tight in kitchenette. Otherwise every stylish. Great ac

Proximity to Dickerson Bay and FSU/Tallahassee

    Slow drip shower.

The room was a good size and very charming. We were pleasantly surprised with the coffee bar area and the little extras in the bathroom. Dana was very pleasant, professional, and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.

The only thing that could have been improved would be to have cable TV. We don't have a Roku account, unfortunately.

We liked the retro style. It was fun and inviting.

There were some upkeep issues. We had a nail sticking up in the doorway floor transition to the bathroom. We covered it up to prevent stepping on it.

I think she was the owner, but she was exceptionally nice and she even brought us coffee to our room one morning. It was a cute little place and comfortable.

The shower head dripped the whole time we were there was a little annoying, but we put up with it lol. Probably a simple fix.

Early morning we took the lovely path, starting in the back, that led to a magnificent spot on the bay.

Proximity to a cement(?) plant. Quiet after normal working hours.

Property and room were clean, bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean and water was nice and hot.

The porch light was very bright and the light came through the blinds on the front door all night.

Great location, charming room, walk down to the water and fishing.

We had trouble with the lock on our door.

Beautiful wooded setting, peaceful. Vintage vibe. Trail to bay, close to the Gulf & Wakulla Springs. Pet friendly & no check in/check out desk!

A small chair or bench for seating instead of just the bed.

    10BethanyPosted on: 2-24-2025

Beds are so comfortable! Great little unique boutique hotel, nice little walk to the bay. Wonderful pet friendly stay! Will definitely book here again next time through the area!

    7JenniferPosted on: 2-20-2025

Cute property located near yummy seafood~ a perfect stop before heading up the coast via big bend to Rosemary Beach. Clean. Can open window for fresh air. Retro fridge and microwave are a happy touch. Nice towels and sheets.

Booked double Queen for my Mom and I~ only one chair inside to sit. Floor is a bit slanted. Shower finicky. Bed not as firm as desired. It’s just fine for one night but would need more room if staying longer.

    9Taylor C.Posted on: 2-16-2025

It was a very convenient location, close to areas we wanted to go, comfortable bed, nice updated room, & very nicely decorated.

The only complaint is the coffee maker and cups was not clean.
