- Had a terrible smell inside near all ice machines like a water back up issue. Also first night around 12:30AM, fire alarm went off and no one responded to apologize with phone call or paper form to the guests. Very disruptive.
- Restaurant and adult bar were under construction could not be used two of the 3 hot tubs were broken and lost power for a day
- Bar, market and restaurants very expensive

marketplace store prices, shame on HC. pricing for everything I found astronomical, as in any resort, but more so at this one, ie, food and alcoholic drinks. worth our while to drive into Marathon for meals. Hawkes Cay ?experience? not worth it
