Douglas House Adult Only

The apartment was spacious, well kept, and the location was excellent for being near Duval Street but not in the overly touristy part of Key West. The staff were courteous and helpful. Douglas House was very friendly to our pet golden doodle. We also appreciated the free parking provided by the Inn.

Water continually dripping onto the exterior stairway even well after the rain made it unpleasant to go up and down the stairs. Not being able to darken the blinds on the upper portion of the windows in the bedroom made it more difficult to sleep. The free-roaming roosters crowing all night long did not help with restful sleep. The Wi-Fi strength was poor such that it dropped from our phones frequently and the TV spooled often.

Location was perfect. Room was spacious, well lit, bed was comfortable and shower was great. Tea and coffee poolside was a nice amenity that we enjoyed. The pool was great, staff was helpful and friendly. Restroom off pool was clean and had AC--nice!

The pillows were pretty flat. Would have been nice to have a flat one and a firmer large one on each side.

We were greeted by Hamzi, who was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable about things to do and places to eat in Key West. Hamzi showed us to our room and he made us feel very welcome. The room was clean and the bed was very comfy! The grounds were beautiful and we loved the 24 hour coffee bar near the pool. The entire staff was outgoing, warm, friendly and helpful. The location was absolutely perfect and we would definitely stay at the Douglas House in the future.

The water temperature of the shower could have been a little hotter. That is the only thing that we could suggest improving because everything else was wonderful!

A hidden gem at the east end of Duval st. Included free private parking a block away. Very quiet and well maintained.

nothing, we love the place

Great location right off Duval Street and walking distance to most of the sights in the center. The property grounds were lush and well kept (we noticed the entire outdoor deck was mopped clean the net day). Having a pool open until midnight was nice to unwind after the day. Free coffee, tea, sunblock and insect repellant by the poolside was also an extra nice touch, with an option to order soda and bottles of wine too if needed. The room was very clean and comfortable, with good air conditioning (important during the heat!) It was nicer than it seemed from the pictures! Parking included was also a great bonus since it was hard to find parking in Key West.

We wish we could stay longer!
