Located along Blackwater Sound, this boutique hotel features a small, private beach nestled in a tropical garden. A microwave, refrigerator and coffee-making facilities come standard in each room at Azul del Mar. A seating area with a satellite TV is also included. A small dishwasher is provided. Rooms are nonsmoking at Azul del Mar, and gas barbecue facilities are available in the picnic area. John Pennekamp State Park entrance is just 1.8 miles from Azul del Mar. Guest can swim with dolphins at Dolphin Cove 3 minutes’ drive from the hotel.

Pros +
- Separate quiet room. Good coffe and compliment ary water and soda and coffee. Even had decaf!
- The location is central to everything we needed in key largo and had a private back yard area that displayed a beautiful sunrise in the morning! Rooms were also very clean and bed super comfy
- This place is amazing. It was was very private and peaceful. The room was very clean and the view we had was beautiful. I definitely recommend this place.
Cons -
- More furniture neede for irems in bath. AC was loid. Humidifier was loud.
- My only complaint is that we purposely booked this hotel for the room with the garden tub and it was much smaller than we anticipated so we could not use the tub and there was no shower just a shower head in the garden tub with very low water pressure.
