Riverside Hotel

Beautiful Setting in a great location. Staff was great and very helpful. Room was clean. The gym was really nice and well equipped. The Riverwalk is great for a stroll and the art galleries nearby are fun to visit. Lots of dining options are also nearby.

Although the rooms have been updated, they are small and the bathroom could be bigger.

The location is excellent. The hotel is beautiful. The staff is highly polished team.

The bathroom was very small. There were no plugs in the bathroom at all to use a hair dryer. The shower head was awful resulting in medium water pressure.

Excellent hotel in this price range. Stayed in the older part (not the tower) in a room with 2 queen beds. Room had clearly been refurbished in recent years. Good size, comfortable beds, large desk and plenty full storage. Even had a little room instead of a wardrobe for hanging clothes and storing suitcases. Fridge was a decent size for a hotel and was quite running. Coffee machine and amenities seemed good quality, though I didn’t make use of them being a tea drinker (bring a travel kettle of tea is your thing!) The AC worked very well. Didn’t need to have it on much as the room stayed relatively cool despite the hot July temperatures outside. The shower had good pressure. Our room had the shower over a bath, but I’m sure other options are available if this doesn’t suit you. Nice bright white fluffy towels. The lobby is lovely. Spacious and cool with lots of comfortable seating. Staff were excellent. Very professional, friendly and responsive to requests. Speaking with some other guests, it seems this hotel has a loyal customer base who use this hotel when in town. Location is fantastic. Plenty of restaurants and boutique shops on Las Olas. Short drive to the beach, marina and harbour where cruises leave from. I had a hire car and pre-arranged to use the parking structure adjoining the hotel. Park kerbside and check in. Staff will give you a parking permit to display and instructions on which floor to park at. There’s an elevator from each parking level down to the hotel lobby. Parking was $26 per day for self-park (there is a more expensive full valet option. I was happy to pay this as used to London prices. Had calculated cost of parking when searching for hotel and this still came out better value than many other options that boasted free parking.

The lighting in the room consisted of side lamps, lights along the base of the entertainment unit that turned on with motion detection and cute reading lights that popped out from the headboard. There were no ceiling lights. With all the lights on, it was too dim for me. I prefer to have the option to turn on brighter lights. Minor issue and wouldn’t stop me coming here again. In hindsight, I should have mentioned it to front desk staff as it’s possible they’d have been able to provide an additional lamp.

Location, staff, we booked for 2 nights, we had a room next to elevator that was very noisy and we had noisy neighbours so we didn’t get much sleep, when I asked reception, they changed our room without fuss which was great.

Was given an already occupied room at check-in. Experience was not pleasant, but thankfully the reception was able to resolve the matter right away and arrange a new room.

Our 3rd stay here. Location is great. Dinner at the Boathouse and Wild Sea. Walked the boulevard people watching and browsing stores. Staff is professional and friendly. Lobby is nice and airy. Easy to get to by rideshare or taxi.

Great location! Parking garage so parking is a breeze. Very pretty property and right at the end of the Riverwalk. Highly recommend, and we are picky travelers!

Bathroom could use a little maintenance, but no big deal.

Lovely hotel in a great location.

This was our second stay here. The location is absolutely the best. The staff was friendly and courteous. The hotel lobby, grounds, restaurant etc.. we're very clean. The bed was comfortable. The bar by the front entrance was inviting, good food and a great time. Access to the water taxi was nice. Definitely recommended if you never did that before.

The room had a couple issues. The bathtub had its enamel coating peeling off. The tile had some issues, gaps needing grout. The walls needed some repair, cracks and just looking run down. We tried their Boathouse Restaurant along the water on their premises. While at the bar it was great, but we got a table and it was a 180 turn. Waitress took almost 15 minutes before even coming to the table. Another 20 minutes before our appetizers came out. Then never came back for our entrée order. I tracked her down for the check and she claimed they were busy. (We live in a seashore resort town that lives on restaurants patronage and know what busy is...they were NOT busy by any means). Will not be going back there. Recommend restaurant inside hotel itself and/or the bar.
