Located in campus of Gallaudet University, the hotel is located in an area listed in the National Register of Historic Places, with architecture dating back to the early 1800’s and beautiful grounds. During your stay you can take a stroll through the 99-acre campus or spend the day sightseeing on Capitol Hill. Alternatively you can go shopping in DuPont Circle or explore the historic homes, fine restaurants and stores, and lively nightclubs of Georgetown. As one of the few Washington, DC hotels just minutes away from Union Station, the hotel is also just 1.9 mi from the United States Capitol, the Library of Congress, the Washington Monument, the Lincoln Memorial and the Smithsonian Institute.

- I?m only using this space to extend my good review. I didn?t realize this was a well known university for deaf and hard of hearing students. Had I done my research I would have taken more care to learn essential ASL phrases to communicate staff who sign.
