The bathroom and the bed were great. The location is great.
After I paid for the room through booking.com, this house sent me a text (outside of the Booking.com messaging system) with a multipage document that required me to pay for any damages. If I didn't want to sign and cancelled my reservation, then I would lose half of my money. I had just gotten off a transatlantic flight, so I signed the damage waiver and went to bed. I've never seen anything like it through booking.com. I don't know why the house wouldn't pursue me through booking.com if there were damages.I never saw any staff.

Great location for visiting the Mall. A comfortable but basic apartment.
A little more crockery e.g. bowls would help.

Great location for the metro and within walking distance of the national mall.Pretty, quirky house. Room was a great size and facilities good.Good communication from the host. Easy check in and out.Plenty to do around the area with bars, restaurants and a great coffee shop right around the corner

great location, near metro, restaurants, bakery/coffee shop.
We are Senior couple and using an old cast iron tub/shower was challenging and slippery. Getting up and down narrow steps with luggage was a little challenging. Room could use another luggage rack. Bathroom sink can use maintenance...loose spout and very low water pressure.

Excellent location, reasonable price, very clean and comfortable. Host was responsive and helpful.
The Superhog demands took me off guard, especially the one about taking pictures before and after your stay in order to be able to prove you didn't break anything.
