Offering guided fly fishing packages, this motel is 10 minutes’ walk from Frying Pan River. Each room features free WiFi. A free continental breakfast is served daily and parking is provided on site. An private bathroom is also included. 2 separate 3 day guided fly fishing packages for all skill levels are offered at Basalt Mountain Inn. A daily maid service is provided. The town of Aspen is 30 minutes’ drive from the motel. Snowmass Village is 17 mi from Basalt Mountain Inn.

It was exactly as we expected from previous reviews. It's a good location was very clean, and after all, we spent one night and just slept there. I do highly recommend it.
Welcoming, new, Clean lobby desk and kitchen area. Lobby with brochures from local restaurants. Coffee at any time. Not only Continental breakfast but egg dish/or burrito for breakfast.
Location! Exactly where you want to be in Basalt, close or walking distance to everything. The hotel looks very modest from the outside, but our room was spotless. Simple and very functional. The staff was very helpful too.

Cons -

While only 3-4 steps up to the door of #2, it was a 'minus'.
No, it was a great experience. We will stay there again.
The bed was very uncomfortable. Couldn't sleep because of it.

Such a cute hotel located only 20-25 mins from Aspen Snowmass. Conveniently located with several restaurants within walking distance. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Will definitely make this our Â¿go toÂ¿ hotel for Aspen!
