Pros +

The historical feel. The pool table, snack options and deck area were nice.
It's a vintage hotel located on the top floor of an old building. Everything in the room is old.
Proximity to our planned steam train ride and staff was friendly and helpful.

Cons -

Beds were a little old.
Beds were not comfortable. They made noises everytime we moved. Continental breakfast was horrible. Their milk was spoiled. You'd rather skip it and eat at the cafe across the street. Management definitely needs to improve.
Some deferred maintenance, no working clocks and lots of light bulbs out. Exterior deck needs repair.

The atmosphere

I booked a quadruple suite for 4.when I arrived he said he gave that room away and all we got stuck in a 1 kg bed room where both boys had to sleep on the floor....never had such a horrible experience!!
