9 Palms Inn is located right off of Highway 62, just 3 mi from the US Marine Corps base. This historic motel is a former 1940s landmark destination. Free WiFi is available. A flat-screen cable TV is provided in each air-conditioned room at 9 Palms Inn. Complete with a microwave, the dining area also has a refrigerator and a coffee machine. Featuring a bath or shower, private bathrooms also come with towels. You can enjoy a mountain view from all the rooms. Joshua Tree National Park is 8 minutes' drive away. Roadrunner Dunes Golf Course is 3.9 mi away from 9 Palms Inn and Smith's Ranch Drive-In Theater is 3.4 mi away. Luckie Park is 2.7 mi away.

- You get the Joshua ?desert people? vibe .
- Despite the motel being old and dated, everything worked and was clean. The wifi was excellent, the bed, a/c and hot water were fine. The room had a full size frig and microwave.
- This hotel has CHARACTER! Bed and pillows were comfortable. Refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker that worked. Much coffee provided. The staff was extremely responsive when we encountered a problem. Quiet. Acceptable value for price.
Cons -
- Can?t think of anything
- The driveway was torn up asphalt and on a hill. I was worried about tire traction. But overall, I love the brightly painted interiors and exteriors.
- Our room had a major electrical problem. However, we were moved to another unit. No hair dryer No Bible No tissue or paper towels No extra towels
