Winsor Hotel

Location was very good. Staff was very friendly. It was relatively cheap as for the center of San Francisco

Neighborhood seemed to be dangerous due to many zombies vegetating on the street...I think there was not enough showers and toilets for such amount of rooms in the building. The view wasn't a nice one

Hotel is great value for what you are paying. £43 per night in a hotel right in downtown San Francisco is very cheap compared to other hotels nearby imo. You are close to many landmarks as well as bars and restaurants and right next to a BART station. The person I dealt with on arrival at reception was also very friendly.

The surrounding area isn't the best with lots of homeless people walking around the street at night after 10pm and I did hear some noise from the street while sleeping. Make sure to bring a pair of ear plugs for the latter and that should solve that problem. There is nothing the hotel can do though about the homeless people out on the street and anyways they don't bother you as long as you don't engage with them. For what I paid I didnt get a toilet or shower, these were shared but they were always available when I wanted to use them.

Good location and the room and bathrooms were clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Budget friendly, you get what you pay for

Friendly staff and clean facilities. This place is surprisingly cheap for San Francisco. The neighborhood is of course fairly sketchy, but you feel safe inside. I’ve stayed here twice, and it was surprisingly quiet given the neighborhood.

Receptionist was extremely nice and pleasant. Other than that, nothing is good there. For a 1 star, I guess it's ok but can def smell better and be upgraded. Location is very good

Easy place to stay and good hotel for the price. Just spending one night worth the price. The Area is ok just of Market Street.

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The value for money was excellent. I was traveling with a young child, and while we were initially shocked by the number of homeless people when we arrived late at night, this is not the hotel's fault. The hotel itself was very clean and centrally located. In the morning, the city looks entirely different, and everything feels close and accessible, with major attractions just a short distance away."

We really missed a kettle in the kitchen to make tea
