Pros +
- The staff was very friendly and supremely helpful. I asked the manager if there was an Uber service or a taxi available, because sometimes small towns don't have them. The manager asked where I'd like to go and took me there himself. He even gave me his number so he could pick me up! So kind and I'm very grateful! I was able to leave my car and motorcycle trailer in the lot, as I was with a group of motorcyclists touring Death Valley. It was great not to have to worry about my vehicle during the ride.
- Location was easy to find, near gas and food. There was a huge balcony that you could sit on and enjoy the evening. Checkin was fast and easy, maybe a bit more info on the property like check out times could be told at check in as well as WiFi access code.
- They had the continental breakfast ready at 06:00. Property felt safe. Paperwork, and room key was ready when we arrived. One quick signature and I was headed for my room. We walked to dinner, which was a easy three blocks in either direction.
Cons -
- The door coulda been a bit more secure….the door easily could be kicked in with only a chain on the door which the screws were coming out of. Nothing major but they may want to screw the screws in tighter in room 200.
- The TV remote control was complicated, it took me a solid 10 minutes to turn on the TV, and switch channels.
- Not really a comment on the hotel itself, but i did miss being able to dip in a pool.

America Inn and suites is a traditional motel and that is exactly what I like about it. The rooms are comfortable in a traditional style. Comfy bed, warm shower, fridge and microwave and a nice sofa for a comfortable stay after a long drive. At breakfast your host will surprise you with a perfect baked egg. Just ask if you want extra’s.
Not really a comment on the hotel itself, but i did miss being able to dip in a pool.
