Location, great staff, in-room jacuzzi, great restaurant on-site

Certain rooms could use makeover

The view from the room was great of the ocean, we were watching surfers from the little porch. There was a Jacuzzi tub in the room It was very nice.

The parking was very steep and narrow. The bathroom needed updating, the remainder of the room looked more updated than the bathroom.

Well to start this disaster of a stay my partial beach view room that was supposed to have either a balcony or a patio had neither. There was greasy handprints on the wall that I can only guess was from the people that stayed before us having fun adult time. Then there was the the guest that they had staying in the room down the hall from me that me and my friend saw openly doing meth in their parking lot three times and said something to the front desk staff that did absolutely nothing. I have stayed at this hotel several times and never had this bad of an experience. This place is ridiculous!

The views were amazing. And the bed was very comfortable.

In the entire room, only one of the outlets worked. Only one of the lamps worked as well and there wasn't a lamp near the desk at all so I couldn't see my work. The WiFi was also non-existent; about 80% of the time it just wasn't there and the 20% of the time it was there, it was having great difficulty connecting to the actual Internet so I would get a lot of messages saying "Connected without internet". The room also smelled strange. Not in a "we just finished cleaning" strange, but more a "this building is extremely old" strange.
