Polite, friendly staff. Cute, cosy rooms. Good food.

We really liked our stay and we will definitely book it next time. The room is quite modern and you can do almost everything with an iPad. Check-in was quite fast and the personal was really kind. I wouldn’t pay so much attention to the comments regarding how „small“ the room might be. We think it had a good size. Besides that, the location was pretty close to some restaurants and metro stations.

Room was exceptionally quiet and comfortable and well appointed. Many thoughtful touches to make for a comfortable stay such as complimentary toiletries along with unexpected modern amenities like customizeable lighting and soundscapes in the room via an iPad device. Loved the complete blackout curtains; I slept so well!Atmosphere of the hotel was very fun and chic. Tons of spaces from which to work or have a meeting or socialize in the lobby which had quieter areas for working as well as a bar/restaurant area. Self check-in was super easy but friendly staff were on hand to help as needed.

Location was close to some sketchy blocks to the west but that's not the hotel's fault!

The lounge and bar area is great.

The area of LA has street people and the food wasn’t that good and expensive.

Centrally located in downtown, close to metro. The ground floor really feels like a living room, the rooms are small but designed in a very smart and efficient way. The breakfast is nice and has a lot of options: bread, bagel, eggs, avocado, salmon, yogurt, fruit, etc. and very good coffee - worth it to pay extra if you have time in the morning

Excellent common areas with communal work spaces. Friendly staff and good security. Room is small but comfortable. Plush bed, small desk area. iPad tech to control the room is nice. Close to the metro, bus stops, and a nice market.

It is close to a rougher area so you just need to watch yourself.

Downtown is a bit empty

I enjoyed my stay here very much. Cute and quirky building, full of art and has personality. Rooms are small but i loved the concept and it was actually comfortable for my partner and i. Bed and pillows were cozy and comfortable. We had too much fun on the iPad in the room. The check in and check out process was so easy and quick on the tablets, the staff was there to help if you had any questions. I felt safe at all times in this hotel. Check out the history of CitizenM hotels if you have a chance. I’ll be defiantly staying at more properties around the world.

This location particularly being Downtown LA was a little scary at times. Walking around the city, do be more cautious of your surroundings. They do not offer parking, we had to do some research on where to park our car that was safe and offered overnight parking. We did have to walk a tad in the streets of LA from the parking garage to the hotel. So that was my only downfall was parking was a bit stressful for us.
