- My issue was the front desk asking for a deposit for incidentals which we knew nothing about then asking if we drove and would we need a parking pass instead of disclosing there would be a parking pass fee, she did not and at the ens of the stay we were charged $45 which i am not happy about because had she told us there would be a $45 fee to park for one night we would have parked up the street.

- The location is excellent - not too far from the airport and easy access to beaches and La Jolla. The lobby and outside patio/bar/pool area are very cool and perfectly California chic. The room was very comfortable. The ocean view was amazing.

- Probably due to the fact that hotel room doors are all exterior doors, we would get smoke smells wafting into the room periodically. The bathroom is getting to the point where it needs to be updated again or regrouted around the shower.
