- The drive there was scenic
- It was very quiet and in a peaceful setting. The staff were very attentive. The food was excellent.
- Buddhist atmosphere, views of Stonewall mountain and Lake Cuyumaca
Cons -
- It is the worst false advertising I have ever seen. I booked it because it was listed as a 4.5star retreat. In reality it?s a dumpy, old, rundown, stinky, crusty motel. The pictures are misleading and the reviews are obviously paid for.
- There was no power after midnight and it was very very cold. Couldn't shower in the morning cause of the power. The bed had its coils coming out. Hard to sleep.
- Mattress and pillows caused senior arthritis to act up
