- Historical charm.
- The hotel was absolutely charming in the prime area of Carmel town. Because it's so central (we walked to restaurants, shopped) we were worried about noise but it was very quiet. It's great to find a boutique hotel with such a comfortable non-old bed - that was a plus!
- Bed was super comfortable. Great location, walkability was 10/10.
Cons -

- For the price, however, they should provide some amenities: no ice machine, no complimentary tea or cookies in the afternoon, and the evening concierge was slow to help (although the morning concierge was very helpful)
- Carpets in common areas were filthy. Excessive noise outside our window until about 3 am. Workers talking and using water hose and vacuum. Dragging or rolling things. Was unable to sleep until after 3 am.
