This Capitola hotel is a 10-minute drive from central Santa Cruz and New Brighton State Beach. It features an outdoor pool, and spacious suites with 32-inch flat-screen TVs and an iPod dock. - The man on duty when we arrived couldn?t have been more unwelcoming. He seemed annoyed with my basic questions about breakfast and passwords and kept answering with, ?it?s on the hospitality card?. His response left me with a really bad feeling.
